Re: Nauseate Spell Question
Failure to resist the spell means being subject to all of the effects of nausea: ‑2 to all attribute and skill rolls, ‑1 to active defenses, and HT rolls to avoid retching if exposed to a foul odor or stunned, after a failed Fright Check, and during travel. These HT rolls have nothing to do with the one made to resist the spell.

Re: Nauseate Spell Question
Nope. Spell resistance – with a Quick Contest against the spell, modified by Magic Resistance – only ever happens once, when you actually resist the spell. If you blow it, you're stuck with the spell's effects until the spell ends (caster stops maintaining it or cancels it, or anti-magic dispels it). If those effects include later attribute rolls to avoid bad stuff, you're required to make them and they work as usual for that bad stuff . . . Magic Resistance has no bearing on them.

Thank you for the answer and the additional information about magic resistance.
I was planning some spells with low cost to put into fodders goblins shamans and when I payed attention to this specifc spell the doubt showed up. |
