A character who wants to Redeem but hasn't yet may simply be afraid, and with decent reason: not every demon survives a Redemption attempt. It's regrettable but true, that a big barrier exists in both such absolute terms and in metaphysical import -- to Redeem, giving up selfishness for selflessness via a dangerous process, a demon has to basically be willing to die rather than serve Hell.

Frankly, I can see rather a substantial portion of Renegades on this cusp serving various Archangels.

Thought about that after I wrote it. If I did the redemption angle, it'd probably be Lilim or Calabite, possibly Habbalite so as not to throw party balance off. Just kicking things around, but will most likely end up with the Malakite of Flowers; that's just funky enough for my tastes.
