How to create a character totally scentless without obscure ?

Is there some obscure reason to not use the proper advantage?

Invisibility. Just use the special effect that it makes you invisible to smell rather than sight; there's no difference in point cost (as can be seen in the Obscure advantage). EDIT: Note that this is the same price as Obscure 10 (Scent; Defensive, +50%, Stealthy, +100%; Always On, -50%) [40].
Personally, I'd be happier if the Invisibility advantage didn't exist and you just used Obscure for it instead. Would make things fit together nicer. |

No, not the roll to see/smell the character. The roll to see/smell that something is obscuring normal vision/scents.

Ah, that's true. Getting rid of it is almost certainly an equal-cost modifier to that required to make Obscure not be an area-effect, though, making taking out both a 0-cost feature.
