It was based of an anti-tank rifle.

No. It's a LAR Grizzly Big Boar single-shot rifle, designed and marketed for the long-range target shooting community. Chambered for the 12.7×99mm (.50 BMG), there are a number of armour-piercing loads available. This rifle, too, is in Pyramid #3/31.

Cheers

It's not that I don't trust you, but I believe that's what Burt Gummer said. Are you saying you know more than Burt Gummer?

Well with any Luck we will some day see a page for Gurps 4th ed that is the size and scope of Paul Mulcahy's Twilight 2000 equipment page.

Just when I think I have bought everything on modern equipment Hans has something else published. :)

You may find this video on 4-bore hunting rifles entertaining and relevant:
http://www.forgottenweapons.com/jame...opping-rifles/
The gentleman in the clip looks over some 4-bore rifles at auction and takes one to the range to fire at the end of the video.

Best part, IMO, is when he gives the kid a gun as a confidence boost. When the kid goes to shoot it, it's empty. The kid is understandably angry, and Burt tells him he wasn't about to give an untrained kid a loaded gun. The kid gives him back the empty gun... and Burt gives it a safety check to make sure it's unloaded. Burt Gummer, responsible gun owner.
