I have a scan of some old portraits of a character from a 2000AD story. Definitely a cat-girl.
Liana from Meltdown Man. 50 episodes from 1980-81.
And thanks to this thread for jolting my memory, I've just discovered it was reprinted only last year as a collected hardcover graphic novel... hey-ho, hey-ho, a shopping we shall go:)

That's your strip? Thanks for sharing your stories with us - it's quite a fun read.

In Chapter XV, the narrator encounters a slit-pupiled female with a circular claw/nail.

To quote Panthro: '... Not Likely.' I mean, I saw the new drawing style, and it's . . . meh.

The art style simply works, as you said 'meh' nothing to be excited about in the art but neither is it bad.

However Characterization is less wooden than the original. They actully feel part of their setting. And their behavior is more feline as well so it not just drawn like cats. The setting itself holds together better.

couldn't believe how heavy a Comanche shield was so stumbled across this site.
The meanings of tribal names are why I'm posting it here: Erie = cat people:0

There are a large number of modern works of animation with beautiful graphics which are unwatchable because of poor plots or characterizations. "Drawing style" is among the last of the things I look at in a show.

I never aim at a superb drawing style. I just prefer it not to be annoying. The snippets I saw were. Perhaps I'll have a second look at another time.
