I have a scan of some old portraits of a character from a 2000AD story. Definitely a cat-girl.
Liana from Meltdown Man. 50 episodes from 1980-81. And thanks to this thread for jolting my memory, I've just discovered it was reprinted only last year as a collected hardcover graphic novel... hey-ho, hey-ho, a shopping we shall go:)

There are a large number of modern works of animation with beautiful graphics which are unwatchable because of poor plots or characterizations. "Drawing style" is among the last of the things I look at in a show.

I never aim at a superb drawing style. I just prefer it not to be annoying. The snippets I saw were. Perhaps I'll have a second look at another time.
