Cleave is caught in the explosion, as is the fainted bug who dies and ALSO EXPLODES. The second bug chewing on Cleave takes the full brunt of both blow-ups and dies, becoming a poisonous sludge.
(OC: the second explosions rolls a nice round 12 for damage. Cleave takes more damage.

cleave takes 14 points of damage after DR... that puts cleave at -3 HP, having taken two major wounds. He's down the for the count (and in the stone rain, and a puddle of poisonous sludge... not that he cares about poison). He's still alive though.

Telrith, you are about 3 yards away from Cleave, right? The explosions only 2+1 damage to you (DR protects), in that case.)

That's a single point of damage. ouch, but no worse than ouch.

4 ants have perished. The last three bugs are chasing after Telrith...

That's obnoxious.



Telrith dismisses the stone rain spells, and takes a step back, taking all out defense (dodge).

Wait what? I thought that was free!


In that case telrith will let the spells run: cleave is probably not recoverable and is going away in the morning anyway, and the main rain isn't doing anything. Telrith is very low on FP.

I thought telrith was 2 yards away from the ants, having both retreated ant attack and having them attack him this time. That would mean the reach C ants couldn't attack with a standard attack.

Just yet another request to pay attention to distances.

The ants can always do a Heroic charge though.

rolled that... three retreating dodges at 14 because shield and retreat and all out defense.

True, but its nice to have that noted. There are many ways they can attack, but they all have a cost.
