Default What comes with your armor kit?

ITL page 110 has a gradated list of armor.

Page 73 says
"If your DX is very low because of armor, you may spend two turns taking off your gauntlets. This will give you back all but one of the DX points lost due to the armor - in other words, any armored figure has only a -1DX for the armor, for this sort of purpose only, if he removes his gloves."

Does TFT assume that armor comes with helmet, vambraces, gloves and greaves as part of its generic protection?
Does this assume that almost the entire body is covered by something?

TFT just isn't that granular. In it armor works more like a force field, stopping it's rated number of hits from any blows coming from any direction with only a few special exceptions.

One of the greatest things about combat in TFT is that it has the feel of being a realistic simulation, without actually being a realistic simulation. Look too close at the risk of losing that feeling.
