Erick, Pacifica wants to frame Chiki and put Day in a safe “spot”. Depending on how the situation evolves, I want Pacifica to check Zybo’s computer. However, there is too many people at the moment. Day might start brainwashing officers, but that will be his call.

Here's a thought: Daymar could suggest he saw Chiki conferring with an officer, and that he suspects they were in cahoots for the engine sabotage. He didn't see the officer's name, but would recognize them. We ask Zybo to put Daymar in a position where he can interact with the officers, preferably one at a time, and hopefully in such a way he can use mental surgery on them.
Far-fetched? Maybe. But does Pacifica think something like that might work?

Sounds great, it's time to load the guns and take the shot.

Who is asking? You (Erick) or Zybo? And what "friend"? Day or Pothi?

However, if you mean Day, he could be guarding the door with Pothi and search the officers before entering. Such a good way to use psi on them, by the way. Why would they do that? Because this is a special investigation and Day is the witness.
When the interviews are over, Day enters and gives Zybo the name of "the guy".

The quotation marks would indicate its Zybo asking. He's referring to Daymar.

Possible brainwashing options:
-> Delusions: i.e. We should mutiny against the captain, chocolate is super effective against psis, my subordinates are invulnerable to laser fire, etc. -> Indecisive: so they won't respond immediately when something goes wrong) -> Confused: to prevent long term planning -> Chronic Depression: so they do nothing of use unless directly threatened -> Gullibility: to make lying to them easier -> Bad Temper: so they flip out when you accuse them (probably should only be one. -> Nightmares: At a high enough level that it ruins their sleep -> Phobia (Psi): So they start rolling (worse?) fright checks when dealing with our activities -> Bully/Sadism: So people start hating their guts |

I would suggest fanaticism “Quinta República”.
The officers will start doing things themselves to spoil the mission, and they might help the Dread-Stormers if they ever find a real one. We could start a secret revolution inside the ship, with insurgent leaders and so on (after all they are officers, surely they have qualifications).
