What exactly provides winning level?

Recently, when I was playing a game of Munchkin Zombies with a few friends, I and another person were at level 9 and I had Brains Enough for Two in my hand. I was losing, so I told the other person who was at level 9 that I would play Brains Enough for Two if he helped. He helped, I played the card, and we won the fight. Would he also share in winning the game?
