Re: [OOC] Worlds of Fire
Yep, it fell off (sort of).
Raised Demon Racial Template (partial copy): ST 30, DX 15, IQ 6 Indomitable Unfazable Terror DR 20 Fangs Long Talons Bestial Bloodlust Brawling DX+4 These are basically demonic killing machines with no function but to satiate their bloodlust. They can't pass for Human, and aren't inclined to do so. Regarding characters: Seann can pass at having an idea of how dangerous these are because of his reading so far, and Arad knows for definite. If anyone asked, the advice offered would be: "Run. For God's sake, Run."

Re: [OOC] Worlds of Fire
Damn, there're six of those? Orbital bombardment please (Seann will probably ask for a direct orbital strike if possible). Hopefully we can keep them at bay with a door... Because they're faster than some of us... (I figure a thirty second head start won't get us out of the tunnel. Actually, on second thought, Seann has smart grenades, so he'll put it on a timer and run like hell. Then ask for an orbital strike. And yes, I know that this would kill the other cultists, but it's more important that we don't unleash demons into a (relatively) innocent city.)
Short version: I'll post tomorrow having Mark get Seann's grenades out. I'm thinking one HEMP Thimble Mine in Guy's pocket (Should average to 61 damage after accounting for DR, but alas is not as badass in terms of area effect). That and dropping four High Explosive Concussion grenades around. That should probably take out the tunnel... (Running fast would be good.) (PS: OotS is a good comic :D) |

Re: [OOC] Worlds of Fire
I was thinking of having Douglas pile up all his grenades and gunpowder and explode it all at once. How much explosives do we have?

Re: [OOC] Worlds of Fire
As a note, I will be off the grid from Friday afternoon (for definite, but I might not be able to post after Thursday evening) until Sunday afternoon/ evening [note: all times are GMT]. Depending on the weather (I'll be camping, and temperatures are predicted for single figures every night at present) I may be posting a lot during the week afterwards; to make this clear, I kicked the Worlds of Fire IC Thread into action during my week off ill after the Autumn camp last year...

Re: [OOC] Worlds of Fire
Salutations. I know I'm a bit of a noob to doing anything with GURPS, and I know that you aren't looking for any new people actively at this time (at least, you haven't said anything indicating otherwise compared to the statements that you don't need anymore people), but I'm just poking my head around in interest.
Oh, and making an account for the only active GURPS forum I've so far seen given my complete lack of local players. I'll honestly tell you I've no actual playing experience with the system, but I'm willing to figure it out the hard way. It does seem increasingly apparent to me that I should actually invest more points in skills over the obscene amount of points in advantages. But hey, it's all about learning how to operate under the conditions given. EDIT: Ooh, just noticed that its been edited that the search for more people will be starting soon... At present there will be at least one space available. I am not interested in character sheets or ideas until that time, but I will provide notice when the place(s) become open.

Re: [OOC] Worlds of Fire
Existing players can, if they are remaining with the game, take their characters up to 250 points or swap for a new character using the character requirements at the start of the OOC thread if they wish.
Basically between the briefing (http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.p...postcount=1167) and the next mission is going to be about a month of stuff; between the various medical technologies, advanced training programs and so forth that are available, boosting 20 points in that time is fairly reasonable.
