Hazbin Hotel in the context of In Nomine
So, Hazbin Hotel seems REALLY freaking popular and, now that the full series on Amazon, we have a lot to work with. Given the show's vibe, it feels easy to reinterpret in this context. Alastor is for sure a Wordbound Demon of Media, I want to say he has the Word of Radio, given his...Everything, but it's possible he has something stronger, given his inexplicable power. Vox also fits well as a Demon of Media, and could explain their rivalry...Hm...We have an obvious Lust crony in Valentino, and Carmilla probably serves The War....Hm...

I'd be very tempted to say Alastor was a mask for Nybbas, honestly... (Have only seen the first one that was on YouTube, though, and some tidbits elsewhere.)

Re: Hazbin Hotel in the context of In Nomine
Having seen the full show, Vox would seem to fit that better, if he weren't clearly way below Alastor. Alastor, explicitly, hates new tech and specifically television. What with it displacing his beloved radio.

Re: Hazbin Hotel in the context of In Nomine
Based on some of the later episodes (and fan theories), it's possible that Alastor may *have* been a big player in Media, who went dark for a while, and has made some deals with Lilith in the meantime.
