Problem w/ Data File (Half Defaults)

I am using the Half Stat defaults file, and ran across a problem.

To wit:

In the Melee and Ranged attacks sections, the Lvl/Parry for
Weapons is defaulting off the full stat rather than 1/2 Stat.
This has the undesirable effect of giving "defaults" that are
Often better than the paid for skill roll.
As near as I can tell, this has to do with each weapons "skill used"
Section listing a stat default, which of course is not being updated
By the Data File.

Any suggestions, other than writing a new line for each weapon?
