Re: Megahex Die
I've got some! I have to remember whether I'm counting white or black before I roll. It's kind of cool though from a "GM disinformation" perspective, because the GM can roll these dice in the open and players who can't help look at what the GM rolls, won't know if the GM is counting the black pips or the white pips. Even more confusing if rolling a mix of megahex dice and other dice, as it could either be a really high/low roll or a middling roll. e.g. 1/6 5 6 is either 17 or 12. 1/6 1 1 is either 3 or 8.
You can even decide that a megahex die should be a force for extremity, or for normalcy. Roll one in a roll with other dice, and interpret the megahex die to give either a roll that will be more likely to roll extreme results, or more likely to roll average ones. One "normalcy" megahex die with two normal dice gives you a number between 6 and 15, so never an auto-hit/miss nor a crit in TFT. Last edited by Skarg; 08-17-2021 at 01:16 PM. |
