Good news and happy thoughts: the worldcon 2009 will be in His Holy City so that ever greater multitudes will become pilgrims to honor Him. And to make it easier for people with not much vacation time to combine the celebrations for His Holy Day with the worldcon it was moved forward to august 6-10.

The final was 507:341.
Maybe all the Kinderschokolade I brought to the bid party helped. Or at least it didn´t poison too many too badly.

Life came at me fast, two promotions later I think I can pay proper attention to the holy thread. Ice, we had spammers...big ugly nasty ones who wanted us to give 'em money for phones...Kromm sent them into the Phantom zone though so it looks like we will be OK.
