Yes, but I think GoZ meant that Age is no longer listed as a Disadvantage in Chapter 3 of Basic. Given the phrasing of the Age and Beauty section, I would think that that bit from the Fright Check table was either an overlooked legacy from 3E (and possibly an errata), or was purposely left in with the implication that the -3 cost is 'for this purpose' only.
