I cannot find Vol 2 in the store

I cannot find Vol 2 in the store. How may I purchase Vol 2 issues?

You cannot.

Volume 2 had a radically different format from the other versions. Rather than being a physical magazine (like vol. 1) or PDFs formatted like a physical magazine (vols. 3 and 4), vol. 2 was a subscription service consisting of an every-growing batch of articles. You'd pay your money and get access to whatever was already there with more coming out every week. Weekly releases were only "new issues" in the weakest sense and weren't really batched together beyond happening to get released at the same time. In the long run, it didn't work out and the site was taken down in favor of a return to the physical-magazine-like format.

The vol. 2 articles exist now as a huge batch of inconsistently formatted HTML and image files. They're not up to SJ Games's standards to be published, and whipping them into shape has been regarded as a project of dubious business value. The closest you can come to getting any vol. 2 content right now is the Pyramid Dungeon Collection, a batch of fantasy-themed articles revised by the original authors and reformatted for more conventional publication.

Having had a chance to look over the archive it's well put together, mimicking the old website quite well. It looks like it has, well, everything. Unlike the old archive we got when Vol 2 was decommissioned all of the hyperlinks and images just work. And every weekly issue has its landing page. I shudder to think of the stupendous amount of work that must have gone into this to make it "just work." Definitely a worthwhile trip down memory lane. I'm really glad to see the old archive back in working order.

As one of the people who provided Steven with some technical help getting this together, I am in awe of the amount of work he had to put in to make this work.

Talk about a nostalgia trip. I needed that. When Google shutdown USENET access earlier this year, I lost my final link to the place where I started writing on the Internet.
