Aiming Bonus + Scope
Have I got this right?:
* Subsequent rounds of aiming after the first provide +1 per round, to a maximum of +2. * When using a scope, subsequent rounds of aiming after the first provie +1 per round, to a maximum of the scope's bonus. Therefore, if using a +3 variable power scope, the first two additional rounds of aiming will each provide a total bonus of +2, while the third additional round will provide +1. |

Re: Aiming Bonus + Scope
Quote:
"Add the weapon’s Accuracy (Acc) to your skill, plus any bonuses for targeting systems used: sights, targeting computers, etc." In other words, the scope bonus begins to apply as of the first Aim maneuver. So, when aiming, you get: turn 1: +Acc (base Aiming bonus) + 1 (from scope) turn 2: additional +1 (extra turn aiming) + 1 (second turn with scope) turn 3: additional +1 (extra turn aiming) + 1 (third turn with scope) turn 4: .. nothing (would give extra +1 if you had a Scope +4 or greater) This of course assumes a variable scope instead of a fixed scope. |
