I'm sorry for your loss, Steve.
Thank you for sharing those insights into your mother's life, very interesting. I had no idea that she had been involved in your company. |

Re: September 20, 2023: Joyce L. Jackson
Losing your mother is one of the hardest rites of passage in this life. My sincere condolences on your loss, Steve.
My own mother also grew up in the depression, and after she married my dad in 1942, they wouldn't see each other again for four long years. She passed in 2006, and I still miss her every single day. Dad passed in 2008, and he was so ready to go and be with her again... |

My condolences also, the loss of a parent is hard. We owe a lot to them and few people know us better or had as much impact on our lives.

Re: September 20, 2023: Joyce L. Jackson
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother. I lost my mother in my early thirties. It's never long enough, but you were fortunate to have her with you as long as you did. If anyone reading this realizes it's been too long since they made contact with a loved one, do it as soon as possible. You never know when it will be too late.

The world is a little dimmer to lose someone that awesome. I'm so sorry.

Rest in Peace.
My condolences on your loss. Even when we know it must come, due to age or illness, death is always a punch in the gut. Take care of yourself and remember those good things she did and good times you had. |
