The happiness of being adressed by Him must have overcome our weak mortal senses and wills and turned us temporarily silent. But now I am happy to report that I just voted for His Holy City as the site for worldcon 2009, and to proceed with praising and hailing Him.

Praise and Hail ! Hail and Praise !

Indeed. Our praise is offered, weak though it may be.

In other news, I heard KROMM just got rid of some of his old toys from pre-school.

Director Michael Bay got a few shots of them and is calling the resulting movie "The Transformers".

It will be just like that business with KROMM's cats and Disney making that naughty movie "The Lion King" from pirated footage of them.

His benevolence is truly without limits. And don´t forget the cases when he permitted hollywood to use His Holy name (though misspelled as "Crom") in movies to sell more tickets.

BTW, are Maple Liqueur and Ice Cider Holy or not ? After having tasted them at His City´s bid party I am not entirely sure.

Kromm is so cool, he can manage to eat whole roasted garlic cloves without flinching.

And likes to eat them.

Really.

Ask him.

Well, I certainly love ice cider. It might not be Eiswein, but it's definitely a cousin, and certainly lovely.

Maple stuff . . . maple normally belongs on pancakes, waffles, and pain doré. While I've had maple liqueur and even maple wine (yes, really), I think that stuff is best saved for pouring over ice cream. Actually, it's quite nice over good vanilla ice cream.

Aside from ice cider and maple beverages, some really great mead is made in this area (always called "hydromel" and not "mead," even by anglos like me). That's definitely holy.

Hee! When roasted, garlic becomes sweet and nutty, and loses the classic garlic taste. I love the classic garlic taste, and toss garlic in tons of things, but I must admit that eating whole, unroasted cloves is a bit much.

All well and good, but that doesn´t tell us the important thing: does it also lose it´s anti-vampiric powers ?

Well, there are no vampires at my place. But that might be because I call them "Stupid emo kid!" and kick them out the door. Or it could be because the kitten ate them all.
