G'annan of Frolec Question V

2. Noble.
Admittedly I'm picking this one purely because it seems like it would be fun.

4 Both, if he worked for the Go'ald expys, 2. otherwise.

Teal'c was a bit of both due to being a Noble amoungst the Jaffa, and sort of a high level NCO as far as the Go'ald are concerned, he may have a useful opinion, but is still not actually important.

4. Something else (please specify).

Answer: .
I don't even have the product you're taking templates and lenses from but .Teal'c's status in plain Gurps is clear enough. He had the highest Military Rank there was for non Goa'uld as well as a negative base Status of Slave on the Goa'uld chart _or_ Social Stigma:Goa'uld Slave in a broader framework.

Some times Gurps has too many ways to do the same thing but if you really want to parallel Teal'c you choose some of the above and give it to give G'annan

The discussions so far have suggested that we're leaning away from G'annan being too direct an expy (this one seems to be a soldier-spy loyal to a Desert High Elf, as a liaison to the SGC), I only mentioned Teal'c as an example.

In case it needs to be said, the poll remains open, especially as what we have now does not look like a clear consensus to me.

It's from RPK's MyGURPS site; direct link to the .pdf is here. Page 43-44 has the template and lenses in question.

There was a link in an earlier question, as well (G'annan IV, in fact), which is why I didn't include it in this one.

I'm probably going to break the tie tomorrow if no-one else does (and if nothing inconvenient IRL happens to delay me), and then post a new question then or Mondayish. Currently thinking that it'll be about what sort of magic G'annan himself uses, or if he just uses magic weapons, but I'm open to suggestions if someone has another question they think needs to be asked sooner.

I'm sure there was but this will probably be post #459. That doesn't encourage going backwards. :)

I regret that I don't have enough of an opinion to break your tie.

Alright, I'm breaking the tie in favour of 1; so, G'annan was a Sergeant in the Light Infantry before being assigned to spy work. Still editing the Question on his use of magic.
