In Remembrance of the Olden Days...
Here is a simple house rule if you liked the feeling of the old step by step movement of ancient table top games:
Divide the movement phase into five steps. Step 1: All vehicles with Speed 3, 4, and 5 move. Step 2: All vehicles with Speed 2, 4, and 5 move. Step 3: All vehicles with Speed 1, 3, and 5 move. Step 4: As step 2. Step 5: As step 1. This should not influence game balance in any means. My second idea will require some playtesting though: During car construction you may take four damage to your tires (reflecting a heavier, slower, and less maneuverable vehicle) and distribute 10 additional armor points freely to the different facings of your vehicle. (e.g you may raise your front AP by 4 and your left, right, and rear AP by 2 each). |
