OK, poll remains open for now, but we have three votes for 3 Earthlike moons, two votes for 5 moons, and one vote for 4 moons. The rings have a clearer answer, being five votes for YES versus only one for NO.

Count me aa vote for 1 moon. Maybe I'll tip the balance somehow.

Having rings is okay. Just don't put the moons in them.

OK, the result seems to be that there are three Earthlike moons to the gas giant, and a picturesque ring system. Presumably the large moons are outside the ring system.

So, given the results of the past couple of Questions, I'd like people to have another look at Q VI, and decide whether you want to change your answers (or write a new answer if you didn't have one before) based on the new information. I'll be making a new Question in a few days using the answers to Frolechi Question VI, to hopefully get a clear consensus on their space forces.

Frolechi Question IX

Which of these options do you prefer for the Frolechi space forces?

1. adm's idea

2. ericthered's idea

3. Varyon's idea

4. Something else (please specify).

Please remember to include the number(s) of your preferred option(s) when you vote.

*******

Answer: Varyon's plan wins, having three votes, while 1 and 4 have one vote each.

4) Whatever the answer works out to, the Frolechi have an enormous advantage over peer powers because all of their worlds are in one system, instead of spread across multiple systems, which lets them punch above their apparent weight.

#3 sounds like the best one to me.

Well, I'm seeing a trend, but the poll remains open for another day or two to make sure.
