Issue sidearm for the DPD at that time was the S&W Model 10. However, there were a fairly large number of other revolvers that were allowed for carry if an officer wished to privatly purchase one.

You mean this one?

Seems probable, actually. I just found out that Glock 17 was first introduced in 1986, which kind of makes him a wondergun of that time.

Lemme dig out the stats for S&W Model 10.

Is Duty: The Police (FoA: 12, Extremely Hazardous) [-15] a free disadvantage that we get the points for?

Me and Epic Kobold have both statted our PCs as if it was a 0-point campaign feature, and the GM hasn't corrected.us, so I assume we were correct.

It seems as though I've encountered a bug of some sort so I didn't see some posts, even though I've received a notification in my gmail inbox. The following messages came to inbox, but I do not see them here on the forum:

Another thing that doesn't go into the disadvantage cost, but you need to have it listed is Duty: DPD (FoA: 12, Extremely Hazardous) [-15]

So this "package", let's call it that way, is worth 25 points. They do not affect 75 points you have at disposal, nor do they affect -30 disadvantages you may pick from.

They just need to be listed.

If someone summed it all up, you all are as a matter of fact, 100-pointers, but this 25-point package is something already implemented inside and you cannot change it. Ergo, it's a default for everyone.

I hope I made it clear now. :)

That's because I figured out the answer after posting and deleted the post. You already stated it in the very first post on the OOC. Sorry fo rthe confusion.

My questions is do we get the extra 15 points from the -15 point extremely hazardous duty or is it effectively worth -0 points?

Oh, I see. I already started posting in tech support about the problem I have. Lol, nevermind.

Anyway, it's effectively worth 0 pts. It's a feature all of you basically have.

I seem to remember at the time a fair number of officers were carrying Beretta 9mm also.

Here's a CSI to assist our two detectives. The obvious partner for him would be a Medical Examiner/Coroner.

He left Detroit in '68 and joined the Navy. The Navy made him a corpsman and sent him to Vietnam with the Marines. He was mustered out after a mortar round nearly killed him.
