I heartily support the idea of collecting new "crunchy bits' from various books in one place, both for ease of reference, and to give them wider use. If they hadn't already used the name, I would suggest a GURPS Update series, although Power-Ups isn't bad. Any chance Wildcard skills will be next? Some of the stuff I've seen discussed from Monster Hunters looks like it could have wider applications, even if the genre itself doesn't appeal to me.

Fan as I am of Wildcard skills, I'd probably like to see a Techniques book, first. There are tons of them, and I've no idea where they are hiding - especially the non-combat ones. As for Talents, I can't wait to bum seven bucks off of people with my "Will dance for gurps money" sign.

Felt like a humanist talent was missing to complement Social Scientist and Natural Scientist:
Humanist 10 points/level Anthropology, Archeology, Expert Skill (Egyptology or Thanatology), Geography, History, Linguistics, Literature, Occultism, Philosophy, Theology.Reaction Bouns: Dudes who wear too much tweed, have patches on their elbows, and smoke pipes ;) |
