I did read further down. However I wasn't implying it would take a full three months, just that PDF should be out within 3 months. As for last couple of books having PDF released early, I'm not familiar with that (don't keep up on release dates) so I was going by SOP as posted here. I'd expect they'd want it to be hardback only for at least a few weeks if anything, since PDFs tend to be easier to pirate (one person buys a PDF and e-mails it to his friends, for example) cutting into their profit margins.

The information in the sticky appears to be wildly outdated. Recent practice has been to release PDFs before hardbacks. We've done that since Thaumatology in 2008. We can't always promise that errata found in the PDF will be caught in time for the printing (for instance, Low-Tech is already at the printer . . .), but we can at least try.

Since it references it so much for us to be able to use the book, I have to ask,
When is Low Tech Companion 2 and 3 coming out?

After Low-Tech Companion 1. Though that's not a very useful answer, it seems to be the best one we've got at this point.

We worked hard to ensure that GURPS Low-Tech would be useful all on its own, and to ensure that only extra detail – the sort that not every reader would want – got deferred to GURPS Low-Tech Companion 1-3. We hope to release those three supporting items over the next few months, cover and interior illustrations permitting. I cannot give firm release dates at this time, however, because the art is still a work in progress.
