Re: Gargoyle fix
BTW, for those that prefer a more monstrous (non-PC) gargoyle, my campaign also has something called a Grotesque... a mutated aberration of the diminutive, stony race. They appear as a man-sized, more feral and brutish version of gargoyles who share many of the same traits, except for flight. The Grotesque is a solitary beast, extremely aggressive and foul tempered, attacking most creatures on site. Gargoyles will not tolerate a Grotesque in their territories.

Re: Gargoyle fix
I am currently running a 32 point Gargoyle. He is a family retainer to a human. The human speaks gargoyle, so they can communicate.
Granite 50 yr old male gargoyle ST = 13 DX = 11 IQ = 8 MA=8 (10 running)/16 flight Stops (3) due to silicone skin Hands 2d6 Brawling Running Pole Weapons Net & Trident Language - Gargoyle (racial) 2 other languages Background Mundane Talent: Miner (free) Was enslaved in the mines in his youth and acquired Mining. When he was in his 20s, his masters made him an aerial scout. Though not usual, that nation had all their military men learn Pole Weapons. Granite found it more useful to drop nets on enemy to capture them. Eventually aerial artillery brought him down in another country and he was found near death and convalesced. He became the protector of the kid of the family who rescued him. When the kid grew up he kept Granite as a bodyguard. Though taciturn, Granite is a contributing member to the party.

Re: Gargoyle fix
Hi JohnPaulB!
Beautiful backstory! While I never used/allowed Gargoyles as player characters, I would absolutely make an exception for this lovely gentleman. This is a perfect example of what makes RPGs great.
