A new question { Making Permanent Physical Alterations }

I'm still adding abilities to my cosmic power pool super, and a new power I think will be infinitely useful to this guy has come to mind.

How would I pull of a power that allows him to alter his physical appearance... and make the alterations permanent? I'm leaning towards some version of shapeshifting, but that power/ability is... hard to work with... Any thoughts?

define 'make the alteration permanent'.

If its just a matter of changing their basic appearance use elastic skin, or morph (with cosmetic only, size conservation).

Be sure to purchase adequate morph pool for any appearance deltas.

If 'permanent' means 'actually stays in that appearance regardless of outside factors'- possibly just a +10% bonus for 'once changed, stays changed'.

If it cannot be dispelled or removed by other outside supernatural abilities then its cosmic+50%.

My concept is that this guy may need to lose who he was, in order to continue blending in. He's a theoretical immortal (eventually, a full blown unkillable MF), and he's being hunted by the people who inadvertently created him while experimenting. He needs to become incognito, and I feel the best way to do that, is to replace his appearance entirely, and permanently.

I presume the goal here is that the character can change, then dismiss that ability and use their power pool for something else while keeping the effect.

It's a separate Advantage. It means that there are no official records of you (particularly important in a computerized society, but there are also lower-tech records of persons of interest).

Yes. The goal is to alter his appearance permanently, and move on.

Then it would most likely be a seperate advantage from your Modular Ability.

So it'd be more fitting as one of his small/ growing list of permanent powers? That sort of makes sense.
