Default Wandering Monster Withdrawal

If you played a wandering monster (and a monster of course) and the person fighting the monsters played a card that befriended or made the monster you played an ally, can you withdraw your wandering monster (&the monster you played) back to your hand or just discard it altogether?

Default Re: Wandering Monster Withdrawal

Once you've played it, it's down. No take-backsies.

Especially if someone else has played another card on that one. In my circle of friends, take-backsies are sometimes permitted (subject to mutual agreement) but never after someone plays off of the card.
