Default 2 wandering monsters 1 battle

Let me ask the question with an example:

Player A enters a Battle
Player B uses wandering monster + monster
Player A uses a card to eliminate the monster (like polimorfism),
Player C uses another wandering monster + monster.

Can player C do that?! It's the third monster in the same battle, but after polimorfism, there were just 1.

And what would happen if insted of polimosfism, it was used:
-Friendship Potion
-Out to Lunch

Thanks!!

Yes. It's perfectly legal to use Wandering Monster or similar effects to add as many monsters to the combat as you want to, regardless of how many monsters are in the combat (even if 0 are in the combat).

However, if the card used was Out to Lunch, the combat is over (per this thread), and therefore no more monsters can be wandered in.

Similarly, Friendship Potion also ends the combat (per this thread), so no more monsters can be added.

The reason Pollymorph Potion is different is that it simply removes one monster; it doesn't end the combat.

This is worded somewhat confusingly, so to be clear: there has to be a combat in progress to allow a player to use Wandering Monster, and you can't play Wandering Monster with a bunch of monsters all at once; it's one monster per WM card.

What Enzzo means is that there are ways you can dismiss the only monster in a fight (Charm Spell, Magic Lamp, Pollymorph Potion, etc.) without actually ending the fight right then, and in those cases someone could add a Wandering Monster to keep the fight going. You can't force someone into combat with WM if they weren't already fighting something.
