I don't think it should be totally disregarded, because you still have posture changes while flying.

That means the default flying posture is being in a standing position and thrusting your legs up would put you into a lying position.

It should probably be easier to go from lying>standing posture in midair though, since you can just let your legs drop instead of lifting your upper body.

There is no listed exemption to the maximum-1 rule on leg parries when you're in a posture that does not require bearing weight on the legs (such as lying down or swimming) so I don't see why there would be an exception for flying.

That said - a house rule to incorporate an exception to all three of them would be reasonable.
