It also needs Compartmentalized Mind by the way, so that it can actually do something else while animating.
What else does it do besides animate the new body, though?

In the song, not much, but this version ought to be capable of working magic.

You should probably note size, otherwise it's a very big hat...

Why wouldn't it be able to? If it's got the skill to do without rituals, no problem. If not, I don't know that it wouldn't be possible to use the animated body for the gestures and incantations. After all, you can gesture and incant with your own body while Concentrating on a spell...

Path magic without rituals? Huh?

Telekinesis takes Concentrate Maneuvers just to animate the body, if magic also takes Concentrate Maneuvers then you wouldn't be able to do both at the same time. Plus it might be nice to think, talk, and walk at the same time...

Shoot, I wasn't reading the Path names closely enough. If it were 'regular' Ritual Magic ala Basic, using spells from Magic at prereq defaults, you'd still get to do without gestures and incantations once your effective skill got high enough.

Yeah, needs 1 level of CM to keep animating the body and doing other things that require a Concentrate maneuver. However, there's no problem walking and talking while animating the body without it - you're doing the walking with the Animation TK that you're already Concentrating on, thank you very much, and there's no ban against talking at the same time.

You can't think at the same time, which might be a problem.

Appearance:
Carmilla Newhark is very good lookng; well toned, flexible, tall, well-portioned, clean skinned and lithe. Her insular job has left her pale, but she works out fairly often and dresses in the standard business casual most of the time. Her hair is a vibrant red, long and straight. Her eyes are a bottle green, although looking into them for too long makes you uncomfortable. Almost as if the light reflects off them wrong...

Backstory:
Carmilla Newhark lived a fairly button-down life, for a supremely gifted woman. Despite her amazing talents, she never really made the most potential. Her grades in school and college were delibrately high end of average, she coasted through to her degree in Computer Science and landed a decent job as a company's IT security specialist.

Then she got visited by an ancient ditizen of the spirit world on the night of her 25th birthday, who informed that he was there to uphold a bargain he made with her pervious life, a brillant business woman named Ivy White.

White, it seemed, was in the habit of using the unique resources of the spirit world to become a supernatrally powerful and knowledgable mystic. Sensing the end of her life, she carefully set about appeasing this Grand Spirit with elaborate rituals that had world-wide implications, in exchange for subtly (and then not-so-subtly) passing on her acquired magical abilities onto her next life and tutor her in the ways of the spirits and otherworld powers.

White had planned well. Carmilla was easily able to recover a decent amount of White's knowledge and past reincarnations, as well as enough resources that she could convincingly pose as Ivy White if she needed to. The Grand Spirit gifted her with even deeper secrets as well. However, White had unfortunately miscalculated one step; she did not realise that Carmilla's further tapping into the knowledge of her past lives would expose to...unpleasantries. And when your past lives include two violent schizophrenics, one crusader who strolled through the streets of Jerusalem as they sacked it, five soldiers and a cannibalistic serial killer, it can get very unpleasant indeed.

To her credit, Carmilla has managed to benefit more than she has suffered, although that still doesn't make her newfound homocidal tendencies any less of a pain.
