Zero Speed car rotation
Hi,
Is it OK to spin the car up to 360 degrees about one of its back tires if the car is at speed zero? That is a rule from the old 4th ed. Car Wars. This maneuver would not require any driving roll. |

Re: Zero Speed car rotation
Rules as written…no, but you can certainly do it on your own table.

Re: Zero Speed car rotation
The closest you could manage is a D4 in reverse (you can move backwards 1 length at speed 0) and blowing the roll by 4 skids. This could get you 180 degrees of rotation, though it's really closer to a bootlegger in reverse.

Re: Zero Speed car rotation
There are currently no rules in 6th Edition that allow you to maneuver or change facing without also moving. The only facing changes at speed 0 are the ones mandated in the Pushing Walls or Stuck actions described on p.16 of the rulebook.
