Default Heavier and no oversized weapons

Greetings.

Is there anyway to increase a Weapon ST by 1, 2 or even 3 levels without increase the weapon's size? e.g.: To build a Thrusting GreatSword that requires ST 13 (instead of 12)? I really need to find a way to do that.

An "official method"? No.

But RPK has exactly what you want.

I believe Low-Tech companions 1 or 2 have some rules for doing exactly that. Shouldn't be a problem.

There's the Hyperdense option in UT. I suppose it's possible to interpolate values for smaller density increases.

Fine. But is that an option for a TL 8 or less settings?

I couldn't find an option to do that in Low-tech (if someone find that, please, let me know), but the RPK page may give us a solution.

"Combination Weapons", Martial Arts p. 214 says to increase its ST stat when you increase the weight of a weapon.

But that applies if you're combining two different weapons together.

How about simply using the rules for Training weapons but say they can be applied for cut and imp weapons.

Has 20% of the cost
and 200% of the weight of a good weapon.
Damage becomes crushing, at +1 for swings but
-1 for thrusts. Add +2 to the ST requirement.

Just multiply weight and cost by some factor, and then refigure ST using the rules in Martial Arts or Low-Tech Companion 2. Want a 14-lb. greatsword rather than a 7-lb. one? Fine! That's ×2 weight, so the $800 price tag becomes $1,600. By Martial Arts, the extra 7 lbs. on a two-handed weapon would add +4 to ST, giving ST 16. The more detailed rules in Low-Tech Companion 2 would give a 14-lb. greatsword ST 14.

Note that none of this affects damage . . . swinging a heavier weapon of the same length more slowly isn't going to help you much. However, it makes the weapon much harder to break. It also increases the ST where damage tops out.

That small sentence makes me not want this option. I love to deal swing cutting damage.

That's what I want. I just want to increase the minimun ST to explore the maximum triple weapon ST without carrying a SM+1 Greatsword round there. In fact, I'm specifically looking for a rule to increase the the Greatsword ST from 12 to 13!

I'll take a look at these books and do the math to increase only +1 to Greatsword minimum ST. In any case, the heavier weapon will increase it's base cost so all the other modiffiers aplies later, right?
