That sounds more like a Pyramid article to me, but I've made a note. Thank you.

Also, I'd appreciate something on how best to use DF supplements - most notably the templates, traps, and creatures - in a non-DF setting. For instance, in a setting with Viking Orcs (and Half-Orcs), Bedouin style desert nomads, and cannibalistic jungle lizard-man tribes, how would I best alter or apply the Barbarian, Knight, and Scout templates to fit these? What about shamans?

I already sort of did this with Eastern Adventures, but I get what you're saying. I may see what perculates to the top of my brainpan.

Eastern Adventures?

And I'd kind of like to see other regions (Maya/Inca/Aztec, India, African kingdoms of Northwest and Northeast) in DF.

It's in Pyramid #3/89: Alternate Dungeons II

I have one for "Gothic DF" and another for "Spacejammer DF" in my Vault. Eventually, I'll get those out there. Been concentrating on some longer works lately.

I know I want to put some Native American stuff into this hypothetical DF setting - gives me an excuse to crack open the notebooks with my grandfather's (and others) stories.

It'd be nice if you could show a Native America that didn't immediately get steamrolled by Europeans (e.g., Maztica).

Trust me, what I have in mind is not going to be "oh, they get colonized." :-)

I'd like to see Amerindians that don't mix Iroquois, Sioux, Pueblo, and Pacific Northwest tribes into one culture. No woodlands tribes with tipis (they were more likely to use wigwams or in the case of Cherokee 2-room houses) or Plains tribes with longhouses, all decorated in bead rugs covered in southwest desert symbology, please. Pre- and even Post-Columbian Amerindian culture wasn't monolithic; why should any fictional portrayal be? (My Iroquois ancestry tends to be offended at such portrayals; sorry for the rant.)

Personally, I'd be tempted to describe an Iroquois-Cahokia War fought along the Ohio and Allegheny Rivers (or fictional counterparts).
