Interesting character! I'd make one suggestion -- the elven wood in the Known World is called Canolbarth, rather than Midrind. It's just a detail, though. I'd be pleased to have the character on board, but I can't really approve him until I see a character sheet.

Very good. I'll make up a character sheet as soon as I can reach both books and time. :) Hopefully that will happen tonight.

As for the Midrind, I only put that in because I didn't have a clue and I had to call it something! :) Canolbarth it is.

If there is room I would like to reserve a spot!

I was looking for maybe a human Beast Master type. As a young boy he was found living in the woods like an animal running with a pack of wolves. He was found by a traveling side show (aka Freak show) where he was incorporated as The Wild Boy of "insert remote forest". When he turned 18 he left the freak show (escaped really) and now is wandering the realm seeking his fortune. He would have developed skills akin to a circus performer (performance, knife/axe throwing, acrobatics, animal handling) plus he had an innate ability to control all forms of beasts. Not sure how to creat this using the templates. Any suggestions? (that is of course if I am accepted.)

If there is still a slot available, I'm going for a human holy warrior. I'm still undecided on what of those two good deities to worship.

Also, can we use the powerups from DF11?

I would suggest not buying perks with your extra points of Quirks, but turning them into money. ($500 per point.) After all, he's a successful bounty hunter, right? Roll the bounties into the tools of the trade

Interesting background! Some world specific notes: Anelas is originally from the Empire of Thyatis, the powerful realm to the east of Karameikos to which it owes nominal fealty. Of all the characters, he's most likely to be interested in the secondary quest of the first adventure, which involves a rather substantial bounty offered for one of the greatest rogues unhung ...
Sounds good. I think I am going to take at least the Strongbow Perk, but it is appetizing to have the extra money to sink into a nice bow (perhaps a family heirloom that he took with him). I will get him finalized and equipped when I get home tonight.

Ok, here's the character sheet

Backstory:
Melchior Kohler was born in a small village in the mountains near Verge. When he was eight years old, a fire-drake attacked his village, only to be defeated by a Paladin of Petra, but not before murdering all his family. The paladin felt responsible, for not arriving before, and adopted Melchior. who was in turn trained as a servant of Petra.

No, those are for advanced characters. Your characters are low-level.

I was mostly thinking about the Shield Wall training (see the above character sheet), that seems to fit a Holy Warrior of Petra.

In response to Kuroshima's other question, I haven't made any final decisions about who's in; there are still at least five slots.

I will say that I'm seeing a lot of fighter types, and not really enough casters. Do you really want to go into this without a wizard or a cleric on your side? Melchior notably doesn't have any healing powers, and I'm not going to be handing out potions of healing as though they were Halloween candy.
