Re: Fit Advantage and HT-based rolls
Inversely, I do include it with HT based skill rolls where the roll is to avoid FP or HP loss due to being 'fit or healthy".
Only if your GM allows these shenanigans. |

Re: Fit Advantage and HT-based rolls
I don't, and won't - that component of Fit and Very Fit is the faster recovery of FP and in the case of Very Fit the slower loss of FP.

Re: Fit Advantage and HT-based rolls
One thing I just noticed but wouldn't have thought of, is B444 specifies that fit/VF and unfit/VUF both affect aging rolls, and Luck can't.
If you knew when someone had to make an aging roll and could temporarily make them Very Fit that would be super-useful! Then again, so would afflicting any sort of temporary HT roll for such a long-important roll. |

Re: Fit Advantage and HT-based rolls
There is a huge difference in endurance between people. Just representing it with HT would give many people who exercise extensively way higher resistance to disease etc. than they should have. Perhaps if you also had various limited forms of HT.

Re: Fit Advantage and HT-based rolls
HT or skill rolls to avoid losing fatigue result in huge differences (far larger than the specific fatigue effects of Fit/Very Fit. though in some cases F/VF adds to the roll), and if the goal is just changes to how you handle fatigue, it should be an advantage that does that and only that.
Fit/Very Fit already does that. |

Not as much as if you instead represented it only with increased HT. |
