D'oh!

Since there's a minimum character limit, I'll talk about Seven League Boots now.

Obviously a Gadget (so pick your Gadget limitations accordingly). 7 leagues is approximately 24.1 miles, so -6 for distance. +10 Reliable cancels out the Instant penalty, 6 levels of Reduced FP cost lets you burn "6 FP on +6 to skill" for free, and there's a limitation somewhere for "requires movement", but I'm having a devil of a time finding it.

I've seen -10% here on the forums, but I don't recall an official source.

I swear I've seen an article or paragraph somewhere official, with different prices for "Requires Step", "Requires at least half move", "Requires Full Move" and "Requires Sprint".

I'm going batty.

Accessibility, Only while moving (p. P99)?

7 League Boots work by picking a direction and walking, so that's the Blind Only limitation.

Note that as written, you cant take Reduced FP cost on Warp (B.98) OR Reduce Time, they suggest Reilable as the replacement for both. But you CAN have it require a Skill roll instead of an IQ roll, and simply improve the skill on top of Reliable.

OR you could take Cosmic +50% to get rid of the "No reduced FP" restriction, similar to what is done with ST with Super-Effort.

AHA, that's the one. Thanks, I thought I was mad for a bit there.

Of course!

Oh, derp. Of course, you could also add a single-power Energy Reserve to your gadget - this would be the "battery" for your boots. It would have to be pretty big though to be reliable.

Nah, use regeneration instead so you can blow a full 10 fatigue/turn.

Regeneration (Extreme; Fatigue +0%; Gadget Limitations: Boots DR2 HP5 -20%, SM-4 -15%, Repairable/Replaceable; Only to replace Warp fatigue use -20%) [68]
