was wondering if anyone would be interested in a game set in the hyborian world of conan.
time:conan has just named his son con to succeed him on the throne of aquilonia.
place:the characters will meet in the bossonian town of agrigan near the pictish highlands in the green gryphon inn.

characters will be built on 120 points....ok i'll up this to 140 pnts.
diadvantage limit:20 pnts

before i add any detail explanations,i will wait to see if there is any interest..

I am currently evaluating players for The Silent Service, Very Special Agents. Everyone may apply, only the best will be selected. Criterion for 'best' to be determined, but will include ability to generate characters collaborately and in such a way as to maximise future story potential. Creativity, initiative, intuition, logical reasoning ability, social skills, command of English and knowing where one's towel are also valued gifts.

I am starting a PbP version of my Yrth campaign here. Looking for potential players, about 3-6 of them. Note that the campaign is placed in Caithness, Ytarria, year 2005 (TL3/4 in Yrth world), in the midst of the Civil War, and therefore, GURPS: Mass Combat is very much recommendatory to be read. Will start the OOC once I get at least 3 interested players.

A 2,500 point experiment

I've been talking to Lamech about this, he doesn't think this will work.

But I want to try a PbP game with a single, 2,500 point PC.

The setting will be "present day Earth, with stuff added."

"Stuff" may potentially be from any genre. I'll consider proposals for PCs that draw on whatever genre you like, and reserve the right to draw on just about any genre to create challenges for the PC.

In any case, the PC will be one of, if not the, most powerful resident of Earth in the game world.

If you're interested, PM me with a pitch. I want to do this with a single player, in part to avoid the "six people waiting for one person" problem that sometimes plagues PbP games. As GM, I expect to be able to reply at least once per day, and want someone who can do the same.

I won't just take the first person who PMs me - convince me that you'll make the results of this experiment as interesting as possible. I'm looking for good character ideas on both the mechanical and background/ personality level. Clear motivations for the PC are a must, in order that as a GM I'll have some idea how he (she, ze) with react to events in the game.
