Yup, I'm still out here in the void :)

I'm trying something a little different tomorrow at 11am (Saturday the 4th, California time), I thought I'd hop on YouTube for a short stream of... whatever. GURPS chat? Questions? Gaming advice? AMA? Whatever's on your mind.

I got a notification you were on and checked in but the feed went dead before you said anything, guess that was a test run?

Assuming no tech problems, I should have a VOD version soon after.

Yup! It's kind of hard to test when you can't do so without a false notification, but I think it's working as intended.

This morning's little chat is online now, swing over and check it out if you're curious. Let me know what you think! 😎 Sound good? Video quality? (it's "only" SD, is HD really necessary for something like this?)

Things I've already noticed/had mentioned:

* I slouch something fierce! That's not just a streaming note, it's a helpful life note lol.
* The green screen seemed a bit overly 'fuzzy.'
* I need to figure out how to get the YT live chat to save as part of the video. Missing that was kind of a bummer.

Quick glance - looks good!

The sound is fine, video quality is fine (no, you don't need HD).

The background "green screening" tends to do that - it has defined human face/head shapes and tries its best to figure it out - it's fine.

You are mirrored, though (T-shirt logo is backwards).

Looking forward to watching in full later (it's Father's Day in Australia, and we have some Zoom calls to make, and some bacon and egg rolls to eat at 8am as it is here now, first :-).
