I did it and my nephews have OGRE/GEV map bed spreads and curtains as well.
They love them as they can play OGRE on their bed.
This is absolutely brilliant! Getting the kids to go to bed is probably much easier now. Getting them to stop playing Ogre though...

Now I can't get the thought out of my head about what an awesome Kickstarter this would make. Or maybe as a stretch goal for OGRE Minis 4.

I'd buy a couple pairs of hexmap boxer shorts, if they were decent quality.

I'm sure you can take a pic of the bedspread that would contain no identifying information. Even just a section of it, with an object for scale.

I was just kidding. He lives far away so getting the pics of the bedspread would be - well - out of the way. Next time I visit I will. :-)

Just a tad off subject but has anyone used the G3 and S3 mounted maps to run a scenario? . Might are still waiting to see the light of day

In the meantime here a post using map boards on a playmat for a beach invasion scenario I worked up. Nihon already had the beach head and Combine was trying an amphib to dislodge them.

That is most likely because there have not been any new mats introduced, which was what the thread was primarily about. Pretty much discussed most of what can be done about them. (Though Cat has posted some very interesting stuff at other places. See her links above.) Right now, Mats M3 through M7 are still available at warehouse 23 and I highly recommend them for their quality, durability and modular nature. Also, I highly recommend the Giant OGRE Playmat for convention play.
