From what range?

Molly strikes first by waiting for the other side to move then applies occult zap on a full move.

Ahh yes forgot about the silver dagger staff! Ok, Molly suffers a fatal ankle twist on a 17 or 18, trying to dispatch 2 rats per turn by stomping and stabbing. Oh and she just spent 4 ST casting analyze magic on that shiney ring she just found, so sadly she wasn't able to use Shock Shield.

well you might be talking about a 40pt Molly. I'm struggling to see how your starting Molly will ever get there.

Plus, someone might be behind her, negating all that....

Molly strikes in all directions with range 2 after a move of 10.

Being twice as fast as anybody else is a big advantage.

Sleep has a longer range than the zap.

Your starting Molly can barely cast a spell. I don't see how they are going to deal with a yokel in their rear hex thumping them with +4 DX...

Drop a big green and a big brown slime on her.

Molly gets accidentally stabbed while training dagger expertise.

Unfair; that will kill anyone (and maybe anything).
