Re: [ooc] the great black hills gold rush
the surrounding terrain would be impossible to enter with a wagon. There are only a few trails that a wagon can use. Some hard choises will have to be made.

Re: [ooc] the great black hills gold rush
Yes, but Pericles has not the saddle-horse (nor the inclination, really) to go charging through the badlands after bad men.
Perhaps, if the GM wisely prefers not to run a split party, we could assume Pericles & Sebastien make it to town (possibly with Sam's wagon in tow if he would make such a suggestion -- nudge, nudge) and you could run the "posse" adventure and pick up my character again when they return to town, assuming they don't all get blowed up or something. :) |

Re: [ooc] the great black hills gold rush
i have run split parties before and could now. Players should be free to do as they feel their characters would in all situations.
However splitting may mean a period of relative inactivity for the split group so as to avoid getting to far ahead of the rest.

Re: [ooc] the great black hills gold rush
Personally, I'm OK with that... it occurs to me this may be one of the unsung advantages to PbP (assuming your players are the patient type).
