Today I posted the CERs ("It's a Threat!" Pyramid #3/77: Combat) for the monsters in "More Psionic Threats" in Pryamid #3/80: Fantasy Threats.

Re: Paper Men and Plastic Monsters: GURPS Content Post
For GURPSDay, I suggest an answer to a question from here about fire-and-forget undead.

Re: Paper Men and Plastic Monsters: GURPS Content Post
For some reason, the text isn't showing up only in the central portion with the solid background (at least on this computer's copy of Firefox); instead, it's set to the far left, with 75% of the text showing up on the more colorful background. I had to highlight the text manually in order to read it clearly.
Just a heads-up

I think that I fixed all the links above that were mobile. It didn't occur to me that posting from my phone would do that, oops.

Re: Paper Men and Plastic Monsters: GURPS Content Post
Today I talk about Santa Claus and Signature Gear. How much is too much to spend on Signature Gear?

Signature asset does note it is for 'Large' items, specifically SM+2 or more, so things like ridiculously oversized swords and combat walkers might apply, but smaller (but still oh so expensive) things like very fine, ornate, balanced, silvered edged rapiers would be a harder sell
I noticed your numbers for the Patron approach here differ from the 'Armor for points' thread http://forums.sjgames.com/showpost.p...7&postcount=46 Quote:
This is definitely a topic near and dear to my heart, as it addresses the longstanding issue I personally think of as 'The Rand al'Thor Problem', how to handle this random broke farmkid with a top of the line sword? |

Also I will note that I have already put this new concept into effect in my games, and a player has already used it, and so far it hasn't caused horrible apocalypse!
We even wrote it down as 'sir pudding Santa Claus sig gear' on his sheet |
