Re: Art for games
Here's that work-in-progress:
Here’s our IST New York Alpha Team for 2010. From left to right it’s: Großmütig Kämpfer (I know practically no German, so I'm taking it at the player's word that this is reasonably close). Pink Cosmic Wolf Argurous Astraph Commando When I can find a good mat for him, I’ll add Patchwork. |

I know someone who actually uses the fingers of one hand like an abacus for quick arithmatic (in some funny numeric base - 4 I think :P), but he needs to flick the "beads" (his fingers) to do it or he gets confused.

Re: Art for games
As others have noted, hand position looks strange.
Pose looks like it should be an action shot of someone flying up and turning, but given the position of other characters this looks like the group are in a relatively unmoving pose. Consider a straight vertical pose, rather than a curve? Again, this looks like an action pose of something charging forward (otherwise, the right hind leg being in the air is weird, though dogs (and, most likely, wolves) tend to have their mouths open when running. Out of curiosity, can you set that light-ball on her hand as a light source? Unless he's a vampire, those white teeth at the sides of his mouth are odd. Also, his feet are at a very wide angle, and something about his right shoulder and arm is bothering me. |

MonkeyFist also reminded me that if I've got Cosmic Wolf in the picture, I also need to have Zell. So widescreen it is. I finally got the lightning surface mat to work again (after moving to a new computer), so I fixed Argurous' lightning fist. Gramatically, it ought be Großmütiger Kämpfer. As an adjective, Großmütig is awfully quaint. It is translated with magnanimous. Should is mean something like courageous? Than tapfer would be a better term. Kämpfer, on the other hand, translates as fighter, but does not sound very prestigious. Here, Krieger might sound better. Please ignore this if you were not looking fro suggestions.
