you might want Spaceships#7 too - I think that's the one with "nautical lines"?

Yes it is. I had pushed for Water movement to be in that book when we were playtesting but it was deemed a 'no' by Kromm. I'm really happy that the outtakes made it into a Pyramid article, this is the sort of stuff we really need for some games. For instance in one of my games I'm using the SS series to create Fantasy-themed airships which double as watercraft...I could not do it before this. My tries at the math were failures. Bad Ones :(

If I can ask, what does the "Extreme Damage" article cover in a non-mechanical sense? I'm considering purchasing the issue but I want to make sure its something I can make use of first so the more (non-mechanics) details I can get the better please.

What are you specifically curious about? This thread might be helpful.

Specifically I was curious about what it exactly covered as 'extreme damage' is sort of a broad topic. Ie does it cover just high damage levels from ST, or does it cover that from very large explosions (such as say nuclear detonations), etc? I suppose a better question would be what would the non-mechanics summery of what the specific article is trying to be?

Sadly the linked thread didn't really answer much, unless I missed it. Which is possible given I'm still waking up.

Pretty much high ST levels. Big Explosions are covered by converting them to Nx6 die groups.

If anyone is still on the fence about whether of not to get this, my review for this issue is here.

Woot! Thanks for the kind words on the article! It certainly helped that you seemed to groove on the whole issue (as did I . . .). I think it did well enough that Steven wants to do another, judging by the wish list (and boy do I have a few ideas here).

:-)

I already knew who Mark Gellis and T-bone were.

Now I know who Douglas Cole is. ;)
