Alternate me says: Buy this week's Pyramid (Pyramid #3/34 - Alternate GURPS)
Well, it has already appeared in my "my Library" section of the e23 website, though it's not yet available for download.
EDIT (19:40): The page for this issue of Pyramid is already up, and you can check the article titles and blurbs. EDIT (19:50): It's out! Last edited by Kuroshima; 08-18-2011 at 12:52 PM. |

Having the same problem. But luckily, I'm at work, so I can't read it anyway. :-)

The variant Spaceships system looks excellent - buildings, water-based ships, and possibly more. Want.

I'm not fond of Spaceships (I don't have the PDFs, but I have the version in Vorkosigan), but if this allows for non-climate controlled ships, I might end up buying the series, for my air-ships

The PDF is out, and DLed.
Here's the introduction from the Variant Spaceships article: Quote:
And yes, it includes options for no life support or NBC filters only. You should be able to use it to make airships. Last edited by Langy; 08-18-2011 at 01:07 PM. |

They already mentioned what no life support means in the weird tech one whatever it's called. It increases how many "rooms" a subsystem of habitat gives.

Oooh, I like that Pulver included the Armor and Volume bit - it's something I worked on myself, though my numbers were slightly different:

EDIT: And the article on variant grappling is quite nice, too. I especially like the half-penalty for strikes to locations you're grappling. Makes the classic 'control head, slice neck open' move much more plausible. Last edited by Langy; 08-18-2011 at 01:31 PM. |

Could anyone with the whole Spaceships book series use this article to build a 60' cog, as per LTC3, p41, or a sloop of war, from LTC2, p.38? How much do they cost, under Spaceships rules? Last edited by Kuroshima; 08-18-2011 at 02:01 PM. |

You should be able to get about one person for every 0.1 ton cargo if you cram them in (slaver-style) or 1 person per ton with plenty of room.
