Re: Memorable Quotes.
This isn't a quote so much as an image. In the game I'm running, the party has managed to acquire several dozen antimatter hand grenades (technically they're antimatter initiators for fusion weaponry), and several dozen more that lack any antimatter, all clearly labelled with antimatter warning labels.
The party leader, whilst interrogating a prisoner, happened to pick up one of the inert ones, made quite certain the prisoner saw the warning label, and proceeded to toss it up in the air and from hand to hand, squeeze it, and otherwise recklessly treat it as an antimatter stress ball. I want you to consider three of those words: “antimatter stress ball”. Those are the kinds of players I have. |

Re: Memorable Quotes.
From an AD&D game I've been running with my 11-year old girl, Little Rodan:
LIZARD-MAN CHIEF: "You kill my best warriors." RODAN: "Um... sorry..." LIZARD-MAN CHIEF: "That mean you tough. I respect that. But you also kill Uncle Larry..." (nudges the slain lizard-man shaman with his foot) "... and for Uncle Larry, YOU MUST DIE!!!"

Re: Memorable Quotes.
From today.
"Does that silly Longbow +1/+2 v. Fish you gave us work during a Sharknado?" "You sank my Battleshark!" "There's a lot of blood in the water now." " That's okay. The only sharks left for many miles around are on our side.". "Can he _do_ that?" "Of course he can! He's a Ninja Pirate Sharkrider!" "Note to self, buy one of those early for Christmas."

Re: Memorable Quotes.
This evening I was reminded of a TEENAGERS FROM OUTER SPACE game I ran at a convention a couple years back. I had a large file of pre-gen characters for that game, and one of the players selected Wednesday Addams for her character.
After the players had selected their characters, I started out the game by announcing that they were all at a rehersal for their school's glee club. "Why?" asked the girl playing Wednesday; "Am I being punished?"

Re: Memorable Quotes.
Some more from yesterday.
"Your beard needs to make a saving throw." <dwarves, admiringly> "Now that's what I call a beard!" "Welcome to our ship Bearded Stranger." "Hello, what's your name?" "Idunno." "Who?" "No. Idunno." "Huh?" "My Father, he is not speak the vulgar tongue good like I do and when the priest he asks what you want to name this child....." "Ah. My name is Revkolak Shakalak." "Gesundheit." I'll be here all week. Try the calamari before it tries you.

Re: Memorable Quotes.
OOC antics:
Party Doctor: What, your character doesn't have Fit? I will put you on a diet and exercise regime. Party Leader: You mean regimen. GM (Myself): No, with him I think it's actually a regime. Party Leader: "I want four reps, three sets, and a Sieg Heil!" |

Player 1: Hundreds of millions of deaths. Player 2: Yes!
