OK, it's either boring or no one has any ideas they like, possibly both. What about some version of the Pirates' CoH from the Basic Set? I'm not happy with the idea, but t's better than nothing, and I do feel like they should have some sort of cultural CoH.

Warrior Codes of Honor generally run from Pirate/Barbarian/Biker gang member to Soldier to Knight with a possible left turn there to Samurai and you're probably not going to see much that isn't bounded by those perimeters.

Also, I've never had that much feel for what you're going for. I never heard of the Ginger Desert Elves before this thread (though I may have accidentally played one in a Pathfinder campaign)..

CoH isn't one of those things I really use.

Another essay sort of question: Describe what you want the the Frolechi cultural Code of Honor to be, including the point cost (I recommend -5 or -10, though -1 and -15 are both possible).
I'd probably need to do more thinking about the point cost but:

Code of Honour (Frolechi) -10 Points

Treat any honourable guest coming under a flag of peace with one night of hospitality. Never bring up disputes within the family amongst those outside, friendly or unfriendly, except for arbitration. Insults against the family insults to all of the family. Irreconcilable differences within the family are to be solved by arbitration or duels. The Frolechi are a great family of families, and should have loyalty second only to one's family.

I personally don't have more than vague feelings about the expies from games that I'm 90% sure I've never played. It was thread consensus that made them like that. That's the other reason I keep asking the thread for help with them, since I don't have a visceral understanding of what the people who voted that way want.

I think that works pretty well. I do agree that the point-value may be off, but I'm not totally sure. Anyone else want to weigh in, or should we just adopt it as-written?

I'm in favor of this as well.

Works for me, a good mix of conservative, and open behavior.

OK, I'm calling TGLS's idea official. Any suggestions for new Questions, whether about the Frolechi or something else we need to discuss?

I've currently got G'Annan with three Cultural Familiarities: Frolechi [0]; Goa'Uld [1]; <other significant culture> [1] (he's still new enough not to have a CF for 20th centyry Western). Should I post a Question to work out what the Other Significant Culture is? Does anyone have suggestions for the options (my current thoughts are 'Nephilim' and 'Dwarves')?

Do you have a definition of "Nephilim"?
