Re: Art for games
I made this crawler vehicle during a RPG session. It was the vehicle the PCs used to escape ome prison facility.
This guy - also done during a session - is an NPC.

Re: Art for games
I couldn't quite get the crawler right. But, I gave it a shot. When I have more time, I'll see about putting some seats and controls in it.

Edit: Assuming you were talking about your crawler being inspired by my crawler... Duh. Edit: I added a battlesuited girl with a plasma blade or something.

Since I haven't made many new characters, I figured I should post some vehicles. Unfortunatley, I'm not so good at them, but MonkeyFist is quite good. This is an orbital frame MonkeyFist made months ago based on Zone of the Enders. Last edited by Mark Skarr; 01-08-2007 at 02:29 PM. |

Re: Art for games
Those two are really great! What software did you use to model and skin them?

Re: Art for games
The Firebat/Foxbat is made using the Flight Vehicle, Ground Vehicle, Ground Vehicle Artillery and Heavy Battle Tank construction sets from Power Fusion 3D. MonkeyFist has brought up that he doesn't think I used anything from the HBT set, but I know I did for the Crawler. The skins are the various texture packs available from PF3D
Aiko, the pilot, is wearing bodyware and using objects from the SFCS pack 1 (notably a seat and a yolk). You can't see it, but she is also wearing TreadZ for Aiko. The Drone is the Dystopian Drone Trooper with the essentials pack. The background is Olympus Mons. The software I use is Daz|Studio. Daz|Studio, I might add, is free. They get you on the content. |

Re: Art for games
This is a new character for one of the Super's games I'm in. Her name is Blue Fire. For those of you keeping score, yes, it is a reference to the old 3e GURPS Psionics psi-drug of the same name. By herself, she's just telekinetic, but in the "armor" all of her latent abilites are amplified to where she can use them. When she's seriously injured, the "armor" will inject her with Blue Fire to increase her psychic abilities, even at the risk of killing her.
