Is that the Genesis model? (I might want to reconsider not getting it...)

Just as long as Mark doesn't try. She'll probably send the Bull of Heaven to punish us. :)

Huh. Why? I'm not sure she'd disapprove of typical Mark portrayals.

She was a fertility goddess. That usually means a preference for large breasts and wide hips, I'd think. Most of Mark's characters seem like they'd spontaneously abort rather than bring healthy babies to term (or at least would have some health problems from pregnancy), anorexia doesn't seem generally conducive to healthy pregnancy. But mainly I was just joshing him, my ideal Goddess of Love and Beauty is probably more like Ishtar as she was portrayed in Brief Lives, honestly.

Hm. That's quite the hat she has in the Wikipedia article. I'll look into it, I like her myself.

But it's a good question whether SJG would appreciate me directly linking to the results, as it would almost inevitably be topless, and she's not the type to cover herself modestly IMO.

That's an addon from Kemp Sparky (PhilosophersEgg.Com) for M4, which I transfered to Genesis using GenX (now sold at Daz3d.Com) so I could mix it up with other stuff. There's a more canine-bodied/legged Anubis at the DAZ store for Genesis, with pawed feet - doesn't require any creature-creator addons at all. But while it's really good and they call it "Anubis", it's really more of a Jackal-were sort of thing. The Egyptian god usually had human legs :)

Also Sparky's Anubis has great makeup.

I'm going to say something very "coffee shop philosophical discussion here" and bet that a goddess of beauty is going to like any artist that depicts her as his/her beauty ideal.

Ishtar and Innana aren't technically the same goddess. VERY closely related, but different cultures, different time periods, things change over time, blah blah. :)

A Bow-sword.

A classic RPG weapon - classic in the sense that there is nothing sensible about it.

I have a proposition for all you artists on this thread...a project of sorts.

I don't have very much time to come up with a portrait of my character for my brother's fantasy campaign. So I was wondering if any of the posters on this thread may be interested an making one for me?

I usually use HeroMachine but if anyone has any 3D Modeling programs they would like to use, feel free.

Please Private Message me for character information.

I cannot thank you enough for whoever takes the time in doing this.

Thank you for your time.

Well, been busy. Trying to get some pictures to work, and rendering others that live up to my title.

However, here's Kalyn Telana for a Star Wars game. (Here she is with just the saber casting light.)

Curse you Reality 2.0. Curse you!

You are my hero for citing your works under the Creative Commons tag. Thanks for being a team player!

Edit: Yes, I realize this was a throw back, but it was worth saying.

Anyway, does anybody take character art requests? I was thinking of having a "Group photo"-esque drawing of my 4e group characters if someone would be up to the task. PM me if you want to do it.

Well, due to the release of Reality 2.0 which supports Daz 4 . . . I broke down and splurged and picked up Daz 4 Advanced and a truckload of Genesis content.

There are people who should have access to that technology, and there are people who should not.

I am part of the latter group. I have used my powers for evil.
